Palestinian Delegation Letter of Commitment
Dear Israeli delegation,
We both came from the Middle East to Canada to achieve our goal which is “peace”. At the beginning we were curious to know about your life, beliefs and dreams. We shared the laughter and pain and we spent unforgettable moments. You were there to listen to our stories and we comet as Palestinians delectation to continue our friendship which is based on trust, love, respect and peace because friendships is the only unsinkable ship.
We will never forget a single moment that we spent here or those wonderful people that we met. We discovered that there were misunderstandings but by dialogues we get to know the truth and we’ll always try to look for the truth before judging things. Here we don’t believe in stereo types no more.
We will undertake to spread our new ideas after understanding all your points of view. And now we want you to know that we are all humans; we smile the same smile and breathe the same air. And as we all know, today is the last day of this camp and we believe that it’s not the end of our goal because peace starts from one’s self, and travels to others until we reach our keys.

Dear Palestinian Delegation,
We are really glad to have had the opportunity to meet you.
We appreciated learning about your points of view, hearing your stories and your daily life. With your help, we understood that we are all the same and that we all want the same thing – which is peace.
Thanks to you, we have a deeper understanding about the Palestinian side and about the conflict. Thanks to you, we have learned to listen, to be more patient and to enjoy learning about your culture. We realized that we have more similarities than differences and it gives us hope about the future and about the possibility to live in peace.
We commit to keep trying to achieve peace between our two nations. We look forward to seeing you and we commit to keep in touch with you, even in times of great difficulty.
